Good in Theory — Better for Light Nails, Still Learning for Dark Nails

In theory, this is a great idea — and it does work, depending on your dog.I have one baby with lighter nails, and this works well for that. The clipper feels sturdy, and the design makes sense. The materials feel solid, and everything arrived clean and well-packaged with no issues.But for my dogs with darker nails, I’ll be honest — I’m more cautious. It’s harder to see what you’re doing, and I’m always worried about hurting them, so I don’t rely on it the same way.That said, this actually pushed me to start learning how to handle nail care more confidently myself. After watching a less-than-gentle grooming experience, I realized I’d rather take the time to figure out what works best for my dogs at home.There’s no odd smell, and the tool itself feels well-made and easy to handle. Great nail clippers for my dogs.

I’ve been using the older style nail clippers for my dogs and they hate it. I decided to try a new style with these clippers. I’m very pleased.They are easy to use in that they are easy to close, allow for proper length choice using the light and the dogs are not fearful after a nail is clipped. They are very sharp so very little pressure is needed to clip the nail. The nail catcher cover is also a nice touch.As a side note, I keep my fingers on the nail to make sure a little bit at a time is cut. I’d rather cut too little rather than too much.I also watched a few videos first before using this type of nail clipper on my dogs. It really helps having the little light to see the quick on lighter nails. Don’t look at the light directly, you may see spots before you start.The dogs were less anxious and never jerked back after each cut. That’s a major improvement. They always get a treat after their nails are cut so they look forward to that for sure.The filing/buffing mechanism works great too especially on pesky dew claws.Highly recommend this product to someone who carefully clips their dogs nails and needs a proper appliance to do that with.

Work as intended

Easy to use, love the added light for safety. Cut the claws with comfort, and easy to grip . They are durable and of good quality, I can see them lasting.

This product was such a great quality, my dog did not get hurt while I was using it. This product is so safe. I used it on my dog like about five times already and I also love to use it with the filing side. It helps me a lot to keep his nails in great care. That way he’s no longer walking around with those sharp nails.

Nail clipper

Works really well. Very sharp. Holds a charge for a long time. The file on the end is crazy fast make sure to hold your pets nail VERY tight!. Holding the nail on both sides to make sure it doesnt hurt them please! This is going to make your pet more likely to allow you to file them. Remember this is like a actual mini sander!
