A Review of All Four
I purchased all four and I’m here to break it down for you. This is a listing for four related, but fairly different products. Like you, I looked at the descriptions of “hydrating and plumping and smoothing and etc etc etc” and said, “yeah yeah yeah, you put different colors and flavors in them, but they’re all the same thing.”NO.1. Appletea is the most “lip gloss” like out of the four – I’m guessing this is the “hydrating” component. A little thicker and stickier than the rest. “Flavor” (these are unsweetened) is meh, the green tint doesn’t seem to affect natural lip shade in any remarkable way. This one is a 3/5 for me.2. Applecoco is a true lip oil, none of that lip gloss stickiness here. The flavor is nice, very vaguely summery. The tint is super neutral. This one is a 4.5/5 for me, my fav of the four.3. Applemint is very similar in formula to the Applecoco as far as the oil vs gloss thing goes, BUT while it only seems a little minty in smell and taste that BURN sets in. It feels like one of those venom lip plumpers that were so popular 10 or so years ago. The feeling dissipates in 3-5 mins and did seem to pump up the volume a little bit. The blue tint initially made my lips a little pale, but the, uh, “plumping effect” made them flushed. 3.75/5.4. Appleberry is almost a different beast here. Similar lip oil formula feel to the Coco and the Mint, but the color in this one is an actual lip tint/stain. Yes, STAIN. Not “branded for life” stain, but it’s not going to wipe right off. This will be a perk for some people. Others want something more ephemeral. Just know that this has a color deposit, and it’s an Asian/K-Beauty red which is generally more of a coral (e.g. a little orange-y). Not the best shade for me without a tan, but for someone else it’s gonna be the best. Solid 4/5.General notes here:1. These are smaller than you’re expecting, but they last pretty long. I bought the Applecoco towards the end of January 2021, wear it almost daily, and still have some left (as of Oct 21).2. The doe foot applicator is stiffer and less soft than I’ve come across in other lip products. You will live, but be aware if that’s a deal breaker for you.3. I’ve seen a lot of people say this gets leaky in purses and the like. I’ve only thrown it in a purse maybe once (I’m a cosmetic display kinda gal), so I guess if you need it on the go close that sucker tight and keep the little box it comes in to put it in to be safe (no spilled lipstick in mom’s Valentino purse). This is the longest our store review I’ve ever written in my life. If you actually read it, I’m happy to have been this involved in your selection of lip product. Peace.

Okay Lip Stain
This is an effective lip stain. It goes on wet and glossy but not sticky. I recommend putting 2 coats on your lips and then blotting it off immediately with a tissue so you don’t accidentally wipe it on your clothes. No scent or flavor.Do not put too many wet coats on your lips because it may drip. It can also stain your teeth when it is wet so check your smile when you are applying to make sure it does not touch your front teeth.I think this is a good base color to put on at the beginning of the day. Use this to “draw” your lips on in the morning. You can apply a different colored lip gloss over this.I have the Appleberry and the Applepeony lip oils. I thought the Applepeony would be a softer pink. It looks the same as Appleberry. Both look like a berry red. I would recommend that you buy the Appleberry only if you like a bright berry red color.Throughout the day, the color will fade into the opposite of a popsicle effect. The color stays on the outer parts of the lip like lip liner and there is little to no color on the inner part of the lip (the part that is closer to your teeth). Swipe on a coat concentrated on the inner part of the top and lower lip in the middle of the day to freshen up the color. My lips always become dry after a while, so I always have Aquaphor available.I recommend. The price is reasonable. It works as a lip stain.UPDATE: After using this for a while, I’d rate it 2 stars. The color is too bright for my small lips. I feel that it emphasizes how small my lips are. You cannot use this gloss to line your lips accurately because it is too goopy. To get fuller lips, tracing your natural lip line with a lip pencil/liner is the best way to go. You can put a touch of highlighter on your Cupid’s bow and a tiny bit of contour color under your lower lip to emphasize the shadow and help your lower lip look fuller. Pop some lip gloss like Neutrogena lip gloss on the fattest parts of your lips (middle of the bottom lip and middle of upper lip near Cupid’s bow) and you are good to go.Note that the packaging for this goopy gloss leaks. Maybe it was my fault and I did not close it tightly, but I ended up with goopy lip gloss in the ziplock bag I had stored this in. This will stain, so be careful if you want to put this in a nice purse or clutch because you might end up with streaks of lip stain on the inside of your bag if this leaks.

Hydrating and Pretty, but Turns Bright Pink on Pale Skin
I picked up this lip oil from nooni (in appleblacktea) after seeing it all over social media, and I can see why people like it, but the color ended up being a bit different on me than I expected.First, the formula itself is really nice. It feels lightweight, smooth, and genuinely hydrating without being sticky. It gives a glossy, healthy look to the lips and feels comfortable to wear. The main thing to know is that this is a pH-reactive lip product. That means it changes color based on your individual skin chemistry. The formula reacts with the natural pH of your lips and develops into a personalized shade, which is why it can look so different from person to person. On me, with very pale, cool-toned skin, it turned into a fairly bright, cool pink. It’s definitely more vibrant than I was hoping for. A lot of the swatches I saw online were on deeper skin tones where it looked more subtle and natural, but on me it reads much brighter.Because of that, I actually wish the color payoff were a bit softer. The lip oil itself is so nice that I’d love to reapply it freely throughout the day, but if I layer it too much, my lips end up looking pretty intensely pink. I added photos for reference, immediately after application, after 5 minutes, and after 15 minutes. You can see it cools down quite a bit and turns a truer pink tone. What works best for me is using just a small dab and then either blotting it down or topping it with a clear gloss. That way I still get the hydration and a soft flush without the color becoming overwhelming.Overall, this is a really nice lip oil in terms of texture and hydration. Just be aware that the pH color can pull quite bright, especially on lighter skin tones.

Slightly different ingredients, but all turn the same hot pink shade on the lips.
I’ve tried several shades in this lip oil line (Appleberry, Appleblacktea, Applecherry, Apple Cranberry, and Appleginseng), and while they all have slightly different ingredient blends and scents, they behave very similarly on the lips. The base formula across all of them is consistent, lightweight, and like a gloss and oil hybrid that leans more cosmetic gloss than hydrating oil treatment. Each version does include different extracts (berry, cherry, cranberry, ginseng, etc.), but the biggest thing to note is that they all develop into a very similar bright pink stain after application. The initial tint may look different in the tube, but once it settles, the end result is nearly identical across all shades. I was especially excited for Appleblacktea and it wound up being irritating with the capsicum pepper extract in its formula, and it turns the same hot pink shade on my lips, looking nothing like the cool toned purple it appears as in its tube. None of them have a super flattering shade on me.Several versions / flavors include plumping or stimulating ingredients like ginger or capsicum (pepper), which can cause a warming or tingling sensation. Appleblacktea was a bit too irritating for my lips, personally, so those with sensitivity may want to check the ingredient list closely. If you’re choosing between shades, I’d recommend focusing more on the scent and ingredient profile rather than expecting dramatically different colors. All the shades look similar on the lips, so you don’t really need more than one.Of the ones I’ve tried, Appleberry seems to have the most botanical oils and fragrance, Appleblacktea has chili pepper for extra tingling and plumping, Applecherry is loaded with peptides, Apple Cranberry is a bunch of fruit extracts and a slight tingle from ginger oil, and Appleginseng is the same base formula with ginseng added in.It is an okay fruity gloss, but worth understanding that they all turn a “universal hot pink” type of shade rather than giving a tint similar to what you see in the tube.

Overall, this is an amazing lip oil: nourishing, long-lasting,
The texture is smooth and non-sticky, and it glides on effortlessly, leaving my lips looking glossy and healthy without feeling heavy. I really like the natural tint it gives, which enhances my lips with a soft, fresh glow.It also keeps my lips moisturized for hours, helping prevent dryness and cracking, especially in dry weather. The shine looks beautiful but still natural, making it perfect for both no-makeup days and full makeup

🍎 NOONI Appleginseng Lip Oil Review — Juicy, Moisturizing, and Long‑Lasting
The NOONI Appleginseng Lip Oil is such a cute and effective lip product if you love glossy hydration with a tint that actually lasts. The formula feels lightweight and silky, not sticky, and it gives your lips that juicy, plumped look without irritation.💧 Moisture & FeelThis lip oil is extremely moisturizing — it instantly softens dry lips and keeps them hydrated for hours. It has that smooth, cushiony texture that feels luxurious but still breathable. Hydrating, Long Lasting, and Not Sticky
This lip oil has been surprisingly impressive. It provides incredible hydration and keeps my lips feeling smooth and moisturized for hours without ever feeling sticky or heavy. A lot of lip oils wear off or get sticky quickly, but this one leaves my lips comfortable long after application. The Apple Peony shade was a little more vibrant than I expected, but once applied, the color looked beautiful and flattering. It gives a healthy, glossy tint that brightens up the lips without looking overwhelming.I also really like the slightly curved applicator. It makes application quick and easy and fits comfortably along the lips. Another huge plus is how long the tint lasts. Even after the shine fades, the color remains noticeable throughout the day without becoming patchy.I have sensitive skin and lips, and I experienced no irritation at all while using this product. Overall, this feels much more high-end than the price would suggest.

Brighter than expected
The color turns out a lot brighter than the color you buy. The one I got is a deep purplish color that becomes a bright pink. So, just make sure you know that it will be 10 Xs brighter. It does work very well otherwise, however, it does not last a very long time at all. Maybe an hour or two tops.

All the same color payout
I really do think this is a great product. The formula is nice and smooth. It glides on as a transparent slight tinge of color lip gloss and then the color deepens to like a bright pink color. I’m sure it’s different for everyone depending on pH or something right? That part I’m not sure. But I got the trio with Appleberry Appleplum and Applefig. They look different on the box and slightly different on the bottle but they all leave the same color on my lips. It does last very long but you will have to reapply if you eat something. I don’t plan on returning because I can just give the other two away but yeah I won’t be buying any more shades unless I run out. The lack of shade difference is the only reason for deducting a star but I would give it like a 4.5/5.

nice finish- all the same color
it doesn’t make your lips as dry as most stains…it looks really nice. the colors all look the same (pink) you literally cannot see a difference with the exception of black tea – it lasts

Apple Ginseng is SUPER pink on me
Expected it to be more slick in texture but it’s still kind of tacky like a typical gloss would feel. Bought the Apple Ginseng color, it’s SO VERY PINK ON ME. I expected a natural warm brownish mauve color like in the photos but it’s like almost magenta bubblegum pink. It’s not as “shellac” looking shiny as I thought it was either. The bottle is kinda small too. I like the application wand, but that’s probably where I’d stop. The stain is pretty strong though after a single light application, it stays on quickly versus the other ones that have to stay on for hours before staining. Don’t think I’d buy it again. The color representation is just way too off to make an accurate color purchase of what I wanted. Might return it honestly.

Nice color but not long lasting
Nice little glass bottle, nice color and shine but it just didn’t last more than five minutes on my lips

It’s okay… sticky…
I got the Appleblacktea shade and it’s very pretty. The cost is a bit high, in my opinion. It’s very smooth and a little bit sticky. I don’t think I’d buy this again. I’m not very impressed.

Great product very light color
This is a great lip oil. I would have given it a 5 but I ordered a new color and was not what I thought it would be. It is a lot lighter than it showed on the picture. Almost non-existing color but still beautiful. Once the oil is gone the color is suppose to stay and that’s where I think with this very light color …nothing will be there. It last a long time and easy to apply. I love the small bottle because it fits anywhere even in a small pocket.

Nice gloss
I really like it i’m giving it a four only because it was not very pigmented but the consistency is good. And the formula realize seems very nice and it has a nice staying power.I’m usually very sensitive, but I had no reaction. I will purchase again.

Works and tastes great!
My husband loved the tint gloss (colors). I also appreciated the product having a safety sticker on the product. “Truly Nonni.”It tastes very natural too. It does dry into a matte color/consistency, so you will need like an additional lip gloss on top or you can apply again…I love the dewey feel/colors. I would say this was fun and not messy at all.

Just inboxes it, but looks like I’ve had this for a week….
Just opened the package and it looks like it was only kind of filled; almost as if I’ve been using this for a while . The product itself is very nice. Has a very pleasant smell and is so smooth going on. I got the shade Mulberry and it looks really nice so far.

PH Balance Lip Oil
Absolutely love the feel of this but unfortunately my lips still turn a pink shade! Not as bad as the others but pink is not my color lol

The best lip gloss and stain!
My favorite lip product. I threw away everything else. Stains lips the most beautiful and flattering colors and is only slightly sticky when first applied but goes away quickly. I have long hair so I have never been able to use gloss. Now I can! Tube is small and looks half filled but one tube lasts me about 4 months and I try to buy it when it idls on sale for 10 bucks. Everyone I know is wearing this now. The color lasts all day or night.

Good lip oil
Very good lip oil that gives a hint of natural and vibrant color to the lips. I would use a lip balm under before applying the lip oil to keep moisture last longer.
