Excellent lightweight moisturizer
A non-greasy lightweight moisturizer. Works perfectly as a base under Ilia’s tint serum. As moisturizing as the serum is, I always felt I needed a little more moisture than the serum alone but every other moisturizer I tried was too thick, oily, or sticky to use with it. This works great and allows smooth application of the serum without added wetness.This moisturizer also is a nice comfortable layer at bedtime and doesn’t clog my pores (my skin is combination and acne prone).The moisturizer has an extremely faint, lovely clean scent which doesn’t linger. Not perfumey at all- I’m highly allergic to most scents.Pricey but a little goes a long way so it’ll last a long time. I tried a travel bottle for a couple of days and ended up purchasing the full size and stashed the travel one away for my next trip.

Very beautiful finish, perhaps the best base milk under make-up. However, I had some skin issues at the time when I tried it that I was not aware of yet, so I was sensitive to it. I want to give it another go, once I feel better. The consistency is so lightweight and go glowy. I had loved how it looked but not how it felt on my skin (sensitivity-wise, due to my own issues). Definitely worth giving it a try.

Clean, Lightweight, Dewy Finish
I’ve been using ILIA The Base Face Milk Toner for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. First of all, I love that it’s nontoxic and vegan—it feels good knowing I’m putting something clean, conscious, and quality on my skin.The texture is super lightweight & airy. My skin is more hydrated and dewy than I’ve ever seen it. Over time, I’ve noticed my complexion looking more even and refreshed.It’s a bit expensive for a toner, however an entire bottle lasts me longer than a month and my skin thanks me for it. My recommendation is to use a dime sized amount when applying. I have definitely overused and had problems applying my foundation after. I apply it right after cleansing, and it gives me an instant moisture boost and healthy glow before layering with sunscreen and foundation. It’s definitely become a staple in my routine!

Good product but overpriced for size
Small bottle of magic. Works great for my skin. Hydrates and helps me have a bit of a glow! Wish it was a bit cheaper though as it does seem overpriced for the amount you receive.

Pricey but worth it!
Listen, I know milky toners and skincare products are trending right now and I have tried several.I’ve used Laneige Cream Skin for several years and did not think I’d find something I liked more than that one…until I tried the Ilia one.Because it’s so pricey, I bought the travel size first just to see if I liked it. It’s divine! I don’t use any heavy skincare products so it works great as a moisturizer for me. If I use an exfoliator, I do two rounds of this and I’m good to go!I can’t say goodbye to my Laneige just yet but this is definitely in my rotation and I will continue purchasing as long as they continue leaving out fragrance in it.

Hydrating
I am giving this 4 stars due to the fact that I really enjoy ILIA products. I like that they have clean ingredients. I have been using this for about a month and my skin has responded well to it.My only criticism is that it is a very thin consistency. This is my first experience with a “milk” like product so maybe it just takes time to get used too.I do feel hydrated, but not as much as I do with a thicker moisturizer.

This is my favorite, I absolutely love it. I apply as my first step before makeup and it preps my skin so nicely. Sometimes I’ll even mix a few drops into my foundation or bronzing drops for a more natural, “no-makeup” makeup look. I also apply at night after cleansing, before Ilia’s barrier repair cream. (LOVE Ilia skincare products but beware some of their makeup is not as clean as they claim it to be!)It’s a wonderful milky consistency that you just gently pat all over your face and neck, and it feels lovely! The ingredients are clean, non-toxic, no fragrance… so soothing for the skin.This wasn’t my first time buying it and it won’t be my last. I know there are some other milk toner/moisturizers on the market for much cheaper but I genuinely love this one too much to switch it up!

Non Toxic Product
Was a little surprised at how small the bottle was and I would prefer a pump to having to shake the container to get product out. I have used other products from this line and appreciate the non toxic aspect. Product feels really nice going on and penetrates quickly. Feels good on the skin. A little expensive, but then all good products these days seem to be on the expensive side.

Light effective hydration

More like a Primer for make up
Seems to work on contact as a deep moiseroizer/. Primer. for the Ilia make up stick.Not as thick or thin as other primers, and a ferw srops does the primer work.

Get the larger size
Great product, but I’d recommend getting the larger bottle. The smaller one is so very small compared to the full size I got last time that I had to double check what I ordered. Photo of the 1 ounce size next to a chapstick for reference.The full size bottle is nicer than this “mini” size.
