These work very well. I got them for my small dog (shih tzu 15 lbs) and they’re sharp, the light is bright and it functions well. The only thing is the clippings don’t stay in the clear plastic part as advertised, so the clippings end up all over the place. But its a small price to pay for such a good product.I got the green set and it’s very nice. My dog absolutely hates his feet being touched so having clippers that cut quickly and precisely is very helpful. The size is good and fits perfectly in my hand. I highly recommend. I really like the way this functioned. The only drawback is the light only works on white nails. The light shines through those, but if your dog has black nails as mine mostly has it doesn’t show the cuticle on dark nails so you’re just gonna have to guess but overall, I liked it because it has both the cutting and the grinder on the other end. I bought in hopes that the light would help with the darker claws, but it does not help. It is only useful for the lighter color that the light can shine through. The good news is that the edge is sharp and cuts clean through the nail and the grinder on the end is good to smooth the edges.

When you have an old doggy that really has a low tolerance for having their nails cut, this is the ticket. It’s harder to get him to a groomer but because this only allows a bit at a time, and has a file option- it’s perfect. He is not nearly as stressed and I feel more comfortable. It’s strong enough for a medium to bigger dog and fits his nails just fine
