good for the elderly
It’s for my mother-in-law. It’s very warm and easy to wash, but the rubber band is very loose. We need to do our own post-processing.

Very tiny opening
Quite warm, great that the toe area opens up to cool off your feet. The top is quite narrow so only suitable for people with thin calves & lower thighs. Otherwise you won’t get them on. But if they fit, they’re wonderfully warm & fluffy!

I’m surprised how much I like these!
I mainly wear these doubled over my calves and ankles for added warmth while sitting at my desk or sofa and with or without my slippers. They are cozy and warm and don’t seem to shed. The thickness is a little less than a regular fleece throw you might buy at target.Not sure how good they would be for walking around since they don’t have grips on the bottom.They do not feel restrictive and easily stay up whether on my thigh or calf. Of course that depends on the size of your leg and I would say mine is med/medium large, if that’s helpful.

Warmer Than I Expected! Happily Wore Them in 6 Degree Weather (because Dog insisted we go outside)
I a felt kind of foolishness ordering these, but once I got them I felt brilliant! They are really, really warm and very comfortable. For me, they were a bit tight around the thigh so I wear them to just below my knee. Today it’s 6 degrees F out and my Great Dane insists on being outside. I sat in a chair, wind blowing, watching her to make sure she wasn’t shivering or showing signs of frostbite. She was joyfully playing (you’d think she was a Sibetian Husky!) while my gloved hands were freezing but my legs were toasty warm.Since they intentionally do not have an anti-slip sole, be careful on hard floor surfaces. I wear non-slip yoga socks underneath that way if I’m walking more than a few steps I can flip open the soles and walk on the non-slip yoga socks. Or I can do a Tom Cruise Risky business slide…that’s fun too.These may not be the most stylish things I own, but they will be getting a lot of use throughout the rest of the Winter months. I highly recommend them – but maybe don’t just use them to sit outside with your goofy, cold-loving dog.

So far so good
I bought these for my husband as kind of a gag – he bundles himself up like crazy to go to sleep in cold weather – but he actually really loves them. He says they do a great job of keeping his feet and calves warm, and they’re comfortable to wear and soft like giant fluffy socks, no itching or weird seams. They launder well, I have washed and dried them several times in the last couple of months, and the fluffy texture persists without matting or losing fuzz.
