This Lava Lamp is so neat!
My son absolutely loves this lava lamp. I got it to go in his room and it looks perfect! I absolutely love this lava lamp. There are tons of color options which is really neat! There’s a color option to fit any mood! This lava lamp is functional and a good size. It’s not too small or too big. It’s pretty bright at night with the lights turned off. My son uses it as a night light. It also has the option to make it brighter or dimmer which is nice. The light that the lamp gives off is warm and peaceful. This lamp also has a timer so it turns off after 8 hours so I don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn it off.

Great lamp awesome customer support
I received the box with the lamp in it. The box looks fine. There’s no dents. The box is perfect. Went to take the lamp out immediately saw that the edge of the base was bent, took out the base and there’s a huge dent in it. I plugged it in and it seemed to work and after the allotted time it did what it should’ve done . It just looked bad with the dent. When I tried the remote (new batteries) it didn’t work, so I emailed the seller on the 5th and today (7th) I got a response saying that they’ll send new base and remote. So far, I’m satisfied with the purchase and the customer supportI will update with new updated pic when it comes in.

Not as great as hoped
The colors are great, remote works. My son was hoping for the big bubbles of a lava lamp but so far just small ones (5 hours in). It gets hot so not comfortable leaving it in a bedroom while sleeping. Not impressed with the stability of the item. Definitely not safe around small children. Update: second day we got more big bubbles but my son doesn’t love it.

Could be better, could be worse
Works just fine as a lava lamp, though it is a little wobbly and loose. The ability to change colors is a nice advantage over the classic lava lamp, but it should be noted the off switch on the remote only turns off the light, leaving the ceramic heater on. To turn off the lamp entirely you need to use the switch on the cable. Since you have to cut the power with the switch to use it, it doesn’t remember what color you set the lighting to. Not the end of the world but it is annoying.

Yellow LEDS Stopped Working
This lamp was super cool while it did work, however, after a few months, the Yellow LEDs stopped working, so every color in the rainbow that needed yellow either didn’t work, or showed up red/blue only. There’s no way to replace or repair the LEDs, so as long as you don’t mind not having all the colors, it’s a nice lamp.

Really cool. Not bad. Water turns yellow over time. Some lights have gone out.
Works great when new. Really cool that you can make it any color due to the clear lava. After a few months of use the water did turn yellow. And some of the color led lights have gone out but the lamp still functions with the colors that are still working.

Colorful little lamp!
Just got this for Christmas for my husband as nostalgia. We’ve been seeing them in the background of many tv shows so he wanted one again. They’re not shaped the same or as big as they used to be, however they are still very cool and calming. Thus one has a remote to change colors which the original ones did not. With them you had to pick a color and live with it. lol this one warms up quickly and the balls are a decent size. It’s just a nice little lamp. About 18” tall and rather streamlined instead of short and fat, but we like it!

Quality is lacking and short warranty.
Green light has gone out after 8 months. The warranty for this item, is only six months. Be sure to exchange this once it breaks within that six month timeframe.

Cool gift.
Very cool lava lamp. Changes colors easily with remote(kid can use) Colors are vibrant/bright. Packaging was great, all pieces came unbroken, it was easy to put together. It does get hot if not turned off at the switch.

For the hippy in everyone
My uncle loves his Xmas gift. My uncle is an old hippy and he said this “brings back memories” he loves the remote control and color changing options. The remote also has an auto off timer which he uses because even though it’s LED, it still gets hot.

These need to be cycled
I’ve purchased a couple of these I found that you need to cycle them many times. Eventually they start working correctly

Requires Patience to achieve Perfection!
Initially I was going to return this because it took longer than my other lava lamps to start flowing, and when it did get started, there was wax stuck on the sides that didn’t move at all. But I decided to keep it and turn it on for at least 6 hours every day. Sure enough, after about a week it was flowing beautifully within 30 minutes of turning it on. I’ve had it for 4 months now and I love how beautiful and calming it is. I also love that it shuts itself off after 8 hours so I don’t worry about overheating if I forget to turn it off. I appreciate that it’s smaller than my other lava lamp so it fits nicely in my living room. The remote control is an added plus. Definitely worth the price!

Works great! AFTER a break-in period
Works great! At least mine does. After a break-in period. I was skeptical of the manual’s claim that you had to use it 2-3 times before it would be functioning fully. But sure enough, the first couple of times it was quite lackluster…the wax barely moved. But on the 3rd or 4th use (I forget which), it was working exactly as I’d hoped it would. I highly recommend, I’m very happy with this.

Safe for younger kids rooms
