Perfect for Mature Skin … with a Caveat
I like this product and will buy it again but it does have side-effect I didn’t anticipate. First, I should say that I’m a 60 year old woman; my skin tone and texture have changed a lot in the last ten years. The biggest problem: I have pores big enough to lose your car keys in. I’ve tried all sorts of make-up primers and powders, astringents and toners. Nothing worked to minimize my pores. I purchased Bye Bye Pores after reading the our store reviews and . . . it works!Pros: 1) Easy to apply. 2) Erases fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes. I apply the product with a very soft small brush around my eyes; and use a big poufy brush on the rest of my face. 3) Most importantly, those big ol’ pores around my nose and chin disappear. It’s pretty amazing!Cons: There has to be a downside, right? Right. The only problem with this product is that it enhances any facial hair I have. If haven’t recently used a depilatory, this product clings to each individual facial hair and makes them very visible. Since I can’t use a depilatory every week (too irritating for my skin) here’s my work-around: I apply Bye Bye Pores as usual. I wash my hands thoroughly then lightly touch my flat palms and fingers just once to my cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead–anywhere I’ve applied the product. For some reason, doing this takes off just enough product to calm those whispy little facial hairs down, but I still have a beautiful finish to my makeup.I recommend Bye Bye Pores. It’s a very effective finishing powder that really does make those pores and fine lines disappear.

Best powder ever
This powder simply works very, very well. It takes only the tiniest amount to completely “blur out” my enlarged pores and fine lines without settling into and accentuating them. The first time I tried it I literally said “Oooooohhhhh!!!” out loud. I am 55 and have wasted so much money over the years trying product after product to make my skin look smoother and more even in makeup. I was about to give up and stop wearing powder altogether, but decided to give this a try first. I am so glad that I did; I’ve never felt more confident about my makeup , and for the first time in about 30 years I actually look forward to putting on makeup and don’t avoid it anymore. To me, that alone is worth the price. As I said, though, you need only a very small amount to achieve amazing results. I keep the sponge in the jar to keep the powder a bit more contained, but I literally just “tap” my powder brush onto the powder on the sponge or in the lid and then “tap” off any extra. I do that twice to cover my entire face, which uses only a tiny amount of product.Do it. Get it.

Works if you put it UNDER makeup
This powder doubles as BOTH a primer AND setting powder in one. It does what it says: blurs and minimizes pores, evens skin tone, and keeps my concealer in place. One of the other reviewers mentioned she tried it under her makeup rather than on top. I’ve found this works best. On top, it can be powdery and visible. So I tried it under and it worked like magic. It takes down the shine and evens the skin tone IMMEDIATELY. My pores and sunspots fade. My skin looks more even in photos. Here’s how I use it:1. Cleanse face & tone.2. Put on any actives / topicals.3. Wait for them to absorb (2-10 minutes, depending on which one I use.)4. Put on sunscreen.5. Wait for it to absorb (my brand needs 7 minutes or more, sometimes I’m in a hurry and go to 6 immediately, but the powder still performs great.)6. Put on a LIGHT coat of this powder.7. Wait for it to set (1 minute.)8. Apply my concealer.I rarely wear any makeup but my concealer, mascara, liner, and a nude lip. This powder kept my concealer in place after 12 hours and airport travel and thus has the benefit of a setting powder if used before the application of makeup. HIGHLY recommend.

Soft and works better than expected!
I absolutely love this powder! I am 38 with dry skin and some wrinkles and pores that loooove to just show themselves like they’re the star. I’ve tried so many powders and they all work well, but this stuff REALLY locks in my undereye makeup and keeps it from creasing. It feels very soft to the touch and smooth. It is a bit drying but that’s kind of what makes it work so well under my eyes because my eyes water a lot. I only use the powder on certain places where I do tend to get oily or my pores show in the summer, and it works really well. I have tried it with the puff they include as well as my brushes. It works best if I use the puff to press it in first and then kind of fluff off the excess with a fluffy brush that has just a tiny amount of powder on it. I wish it had a bit of a tint to it, but I’m super pale anyway, so it works. I think it does flash back a bit, but not as bad as some others I’ve tried.

The BEST makeup powder I’ve tried for oily skin
Just before my trip to Greece, I was running out of my Laura Mercier translucent powder and wanted to try a new brand so I tried this IT cosmetics one after seeing good reviews. I have very oily skin on my whole face and normally have to blot throughout the day (literally like 2 hrs after putting my makeup on). When I was wearing this in Greece (where it was hot and I was sweaty and we’d be outside all day), I’d only really only have to blot a tiny bit on my nose after like 8 hours of wear. The only thing I would say is it works best at keeping you shine-free all day if you put on a generous amount when you first do your makeup but sometimes it can feel a little drying because it absorbs all the moisture on your face, so on a regular day if I’m going to work or something I’ll just put on a light amount, but if I want full coverage for a special occassion I’d use a bit more.

Wow. Just…. wow.
I don’t usually leave reviews on our store, but this stuff is worthy. Holy crap is it amazing. Now 41, I’ve dealt with large pores most of my adult life. However, after hormonal issues, massive long-term stress, chronic illness, and so on, my skin has looked worse than ever for the past 6 years. Massive pores, lines, greasiness… my usual mineral powder foundation wasn’t cutting it anymore– it was emphasizing everything I wanted to cover. After some trial and error, I found my holy grail routine, in large part thanks to this miracle powder. After cleansing, serums and moisturizing, I use Babo Tinted SPF 30 or IT CC cream if it’s a special occasion. Then, a VERY light swirl of this powder on a fluffy brush all over my face (seriously, you really don’t need much) except eyes, because the powder is quite dry and doesn’t seem to work well above & under my eyes. Then, I use my usual mineral powder foundation all over, followed by another VERY light layer of this powder. Then on to the rest of my makeup routine as normal.I CANNOT believe how well this powder blurs my coin-purse pores and not-so-fine lines. And it lasts! Each time I’ve used this particular powder, I’ve noticed in the evenings, after wearing all day, that my face still looks porcelain clear and without any sign of greasiness. I. Love. This. Powder.Note that it is on the dry side, so if you have dry skin, might not be your best bet. But using it with tinted SPF is perfect for me, as that stuff is heavily moisturizing, almost to the point of being greasy– but not with this powder. Soooo worth the price because not only does it work, it should last quite awhile, given how little is needed. This is just my personal experience, of course, but I highly, HIGHLY recommend trying this if you have similar skin issues/needs.

Really smooth, not drying, Did NOT disappoint 🙂
I was surprised it was so good.IT has such a huge reputation, was expecting to be not so thrilled, but it IS really good.I got it in the translucent , looks white but on my face it looks very natural and did not leave me looking like I fell in a sack of flour. If your skin tone is med to dark, it might have a white cast, but good translucent powders, give it a few seconds and your natural oils tame it down and matches youIt IS expensive but its really super fine and a tiny bit goes a LONG way.So far Im impressed, no cakey lines, no dry flat look, so unless I break out or my eyes water like nuts, Its a keeper. No noticeable scent either. Dont let the container fool you, its not cheap, but compared to higher end/ priced loose powders it give you more in a low key streamlined container than giving you less in a giant container with fancy thick glass or gilded tops.

Love.
It’s not translucent it’s white. And chalky. But it works for oily skin and oil production.

Probably better for oilier skin.
I didnt think I had oily skin but I didnt think I have dry skin. I like this product as my setting powder but my mid day my face felt dry and tired seems better suited for atleast slightly oily skin. Decent job with pores. Not so much on fine lines

illuminates my face to perfection
This product deserves a higher rating. I’ve been using this for almost a decade. No other powder compares to this one.I’ll start off by saying I’m very picky about makeup products. I’m approaching 50 and everyone is surprised when I tell them how old I am. I take very good care of care of my skin and can proudly say I don’t need to wear any foundation. Just concealer under my eyes and occasionally a dab around my nose during allergy season. I prefer a no makeup makeup look when it comes to my face. I want to smooth out and lock in my makeup without looking artificial. This does just that and more.I’ve tried several expensive department store brands of pressed powder and loose. This one is the one I’ve finally settled on. It does not settle into lines or creases. It illuminates and brightens making my face look softer and hydrated. Other products made me look dried out gross. This blends in immediately. You don’t need to use very much. A little goes a long ways. I use this almost everyday and usually it will last 4 + months before I need to buy a new one.I simply cannot be without it. There are no other products that even come close to what this does for my skin.

Blends heavenly
Love this powder. The translucent ‘color’ is an off white and blends invisibly into my fair skin. The consistency is light-weight, silky smooth and super fine. I particular like it for flawlessly setting my under-eye concealer. It has a great matting and blurring effect that lasts for hours but never settles into folds or wrinkles. It is a small size container, which I prefer when it comes to cosmetics. It is a pricey product but a little goes a long way. Well worth the money for me.

Good brand
So glad I found this brand. Second time buying this powder, but I also just tried their bronzer and both really do help with pores. A little trick for the super craters is to press in the powder with your finger first then brush up and across to get rid of the excess.

Powder puff
Color is a little bit off but the product itself is nice little expensive.

Lightweight and flawless effect
Light weight and easily blended. I use this under my brow too. It gives a slight brightness to the brow bone area but looks natural.
