Nice cable, but no 4K from iPhone 15 Pro like the description implies
Upfront: I bought this for use with an iPhone 15 Pro (non-Max), and was lead by the description to believe that it would output 4K video from that device. As of iOS 17.0.x it does NOT.I get 2560×1440, 60Hz if the display supports that resolution, 1080p60 otherwise. Plugged into my sound system that will pass 4K, I was unable to get any picture at all; I’m guessing it reported to the phone that 2560×1440 was supported but the TV couldn’t actually display that, so I just got a black screen.Now, it’s entirely possible that this is a limitation of the particular device or the OS; I tried the cable on a Mac and got 4k60p, so the cable does appear to be able to be genuine HDMI2.0. But, if you read the product description as-written and expect to get 4K video out of an iPhone 15 Pro, you’re not going to get that, at least as of iOS 17.Otherwise, no complaints: The cable feels thick and sturdy, the grip parts are apparently metal and feel very solid, the braiding is nice, and critically there’s a BIG piece of very solid-feeling strain relief, so it seems likely to hold up to being flexed without separating. The tradeoff for this is that the USB-C connector is long and stiff, which combined with the thick cable seems like it’ll put more strain on the port itself.The fairly long HDMI end (3″ from end of the body to the end of the strain relief) could also have trouble fitting behind something with ports in the back that’s close to a wall (a bare minimum 3.5″ from the surface of the display to the wall for the cord to bend).A big plus (and the main reason I picked this one) is that the USB-C end is only a bit thicker and wider than the USB-C port itself, so if you have a phone case with a narrow opening for the port (which I do), it’ll almost certainly still fit (I tried a hub with a fatter jack, and it ran into the case so I couldn’t plug it in properly).In initial testing the HDMI end did seem to get warm quickly, but that may be a good thing–metal case getting heat away from the chip quickly (although ideal would be no heat at all, since any power being wasted in the conversion is going to hit the battery on a phone hard).

Very well built put together cord
Connection was easy I love the size and length of it I am not sure about the sound quality or the compatibility or or functionality only reason I say that is I think it was my phone that was having an issue connecting and running it to the other part USB part that’s the only reason I’m not sure of the compatibility or the functionality overall I think it’s a great cable if I could get my phone to recognize it it’s not the Court’s fault it may be the Android version on my phone don’t know but I would recommend Accord either way yes I’m sure others would have a lot better looking to thank you mine’s only Android 14 I think which might be my problem I truly though would think you would be a great chord and investment to get I just wish I knew more about it as far as the functionality and that kind of stuff with it I’m sure if my phone would have ran it I think it would have been very wonderful I’m just not for sure my phone personally isn’t compatible like I said it’s a Moto G stylus phone so I’m not sure I still give it five stars though

Good Product
Let’s be clear: these Apple Lightning chargers do exactly what they’re supposed to do. They charge my phone. Groundbreaking, I know. It’s not the charger’s fault I’m practically a wholesale customer. My recurring purchases aren’t due to faulty wiring or planned obsolescence (though conspiracy theorists, feel free to chime in). Nope. My nemesis? My sweet, adorable child.This kid could take a titanium cable and turn it into a pretzel in under five minutes. These delicate Lightning cords? They stand approximately zero chance. She treats them like they’re extensions of her own personal hair-twirling hobby. I find them later, contorted into shapes that would make a Mobius strip jealous. It’s like she’s conducting advanced textile engineering experiments, and the Lightning cable is her unfortunate medium.So, yes, the charger works. Beautifully, even. For the brief, glorious moments before it enters the “Twisted Dimension.” I’ve bought so many of these things, I’m pretty sure my our store recommendations are now just various lengths and colors of Lightning cables. My bedside table looks like a graveyard of mangled white wires.Despite this Sisyphean task of constantly replacing them, I’m still giving five stars because, again, they do work. It’s not their fault they’re entering a household with a tiny, cable-mangling tornado disguised as a human. Maybe Apple should start selling them in bulk, like socks. Or perhaps develop a version braided with adamantium. Just a thought.

Blew up after 2 months – dead
It worked great for 2 months. Last night, there was a sound as I was watching a movie on my display using this wire and now it does not work at all. No connection. I switched cables, everything is fine. So the cable just blew up or something like that. contacted the seller through our store and 2 hours later, they had shipped the replacement. Great support, happy customer!
