BEST DOG BOOTS EVER!! dog boots for Cold weather

These are good dog boots. They seem to have good rubber traction on the bottom. They don’t slip, they seem to stay on her feet, as long as you adjust the straps Accordingly. Make sure you don’t strap them too tight you don’t want to cut off the circulation to their feet. Just use good judgment. It. does not keep her feet super warm, but it keeps them from being exposed to snow or the cold elements. They’re easy to remove once you unstrapped Them. It’s an OK price for the money. They don’t have any smell to them. She can walk in them fine. You kind of have to go by the breed & what type of feet They have more so than their size or their weight. She’s a solid 55 probably 60lbs. She’s about 10lbs Overweight. But she’s older, so it’s ok now. As we are letting her days live out as her best life. But her feet are really tiny & dainty. Her feet Really wouldn’t match her weight as She’s well proportioned & solid except for tiny feet. Look at other people’s reviews is what I did to get the correct sizing. That workedShe’s older & has Arthritis in her feet. We get a lot of snow/cold weather here in the Midwest & that aggravates her Arthritis. This is good to put on to keep Her feet. For many reasons. To keep them from getting muddy when it’s raining or Wet and they keep Her feet out of the Snow. Also helps Protect from cold winds. An she really only wears them just long enough to go to the bathroom & come back inside. It also would protect her feet if we were walking on a trail to keep any spurs Or sharp rocks, anything like that from hurting her paws. I would recommend them. It’s a good purchase an a decent price.. They seem to be well stitched and well made. Again we got a size 5 for a smaller female pittbull We also have a 108lb and Rottweiler. We got a size 8 boot for & it fit perfectly!!! We have tried so many brands over the years. All have failed in every way possible. These are by far the best made in every way from top to bottom to to even reflective. Please don’t ever stop making your brand! like I said size 5 for our 55lb to 60lb female pitbull & a size 8 for for our 108lb rottweiler. There’s no such thing as a perfect boot or shoe for dog. There’s just too many variables. But these are the closest You can get to perfect! Job Well done!! I highly recommend!

Glad i got them but wish they came longer!

Enjoy the comedic video! It took a good bit to make since our store won’t allow multiple videos lol! I decided to get dog shoes since it’s been snowing on and off in Jersey and the new place i moved into has salt all over the sidewalks and road. My boy marks a lot and when he kicks his legs he gets ice in between his toes and will start holding his paw limping and trying to lick it out. I got the biggest size which is an 8. He has smaller paws for a rottie but his paws are long. I measured 4.5” for length but the biggest any of the dog shoes on here had was a 3-3.5. This brand had the longest length and had good reviews so i went with these. I’m very surprised cause like you can see in the video, he not only allowed me to put them on with no fight but laid on his side to help me out! Now he knows and when he sees them he automatically lays on his side! He hates his paws being touched. When i trim his nails or try to clean his paws he’ll pull away and lick me like “i love you but no”😂. He’s still breaking into them but they’ve shaped a bit over the 3 days he’s worn them. I wish they made them longer though cause the velcro straps are right where his front paws bend. The back ones fit perfectly. My only complaint for the back is a small gap where snow gets into. I tightened them all the way and it definitely helped with that though. His first time wearing them had me dying laughing. He refused to walk for a few minutes then realized he wasn’t getting out of it. The front ones came off pretty fast but the back ones stayed our whole 30 minute walk. The first two days i just put on the back ones to get him used to them. Since after the first go he managed to get off the front one’s. But today i put on the front ones as well and they stayed on the whole hour we were out. That included him playing and running up and down hills. Just be careful cause they are not non slip. I threw his ball on this trail that has compacted snow which made it kinda slippery. He slipped and fell but luckily he’s fine! The front ones do tend to start to pulling forward a bit and causes him to trip every few steps. He’s adjusted really well though and has been very good about it! I’m very very surprised and proud of him. Today was the second time wearing both front and back and he walks good in them now! I also really enjoy the reflectors! I take him out every night around 10 and let him just run around and play in a big field. I like that i can see him from a good bit away! He’ll never go too far unless he sees a bunny lol. Also don’t mind the mess! I just moved and i’m still unpacking! The inside felt like they’re pretty comfortable, nothing special though. They are made nicely and i can see them lasting awhile. I recommend trying these out for the winter months and even summer when the pavement is hot. Never hurts to try something that can help your fur baby! If your dog hates their paws being touched so you’ve avoided buying, just try! It’s worth the money and you might be as surprised as i was! It’s like he knows it’ll help him in the long run! When the front ones started slipping today i went to take them off and he pulled away like “i like them now just fix them” which took me back!

Crafted with high-quality, water-resistant materials and a rugged, anti-slip rubber sole, these boots are designed to shield your dog’s paws from extreme conditions, whether it’s scorching summer pavement, snowy winter trails, or rainy weather. Available in a range of sizes (1 through 8) to fit dogs from 11 to 88 pounds, these boots ensure a snug, secure fit with their wide split seam opening and dual adjustable, reflective Velcro straps, which not only keep the boots in place during vigorous activity but also enhance visibility for safe nighttime walks. Pet owners rave about the boots’ ability to protect paws from sharp thorns, hot asphalt, and icy surfaces, making them a versatile, must-have accessory for both indoor and outdoor adventures. One of the most impressive features of the QUMY Dog Shoes is their ability to provide unparalleled paw protection across diverse conditions. The water-resistant fabric keeps paws dry and clean during rainy or snowy outings, eliminating the need for constant paw wiping after walks. In summer, the boots shield paws from burning pavement, while in winter, they prevent frostbite and ice buildup between toes, allowing dogs to play freely without discomfort. Users consistently praise their durability, with one owner of a 95-pound Golden Retriever noting, “These shoes have been wonderful to protect her paws from sharp rocks and hot packed clay,” even during intense summer hikes. The breathable yet sturdy material ensures comfort without overheating, and the boots’ flexibility allows natural paw movement, making them ideal for dogs with sensitive paws or conditions like arthritis or corns. The rugged, anti-slip sole is a standout feature, offering excellent traction on various surfaces, from hardwood floors to rocky trails. This ensures stability and prevents slips, which is especially beneficial for older dogs or those with mobility issues, such as a German Shepherd with degenerative myelopathy whose owner reported improved traction and faster walking after using these boots. The soles are sewn to high-quality fabrics, ensuring durability even with heavy use across terrains like gravel, sand, or snow. Customers appreciate the boots’ ability to stay secure during high-energy activities, with one noting, “They’ve held up to running, swimming in rivers, and wrestling with dog friends,” without ever coming loose. The reflective Velcro straps add an extra layer of safety, making these boots perfect for evening hikes or urban strolls. For camping enthusiasts, the QUMY Dog Shoes are a fantastic companion for outdoor adventures. Their lightweight, water-resistant design makes them easy to pack for RV or tent camping, fitting neatly into small storage spaces. The boots protect paws from rough campsite terrain, such as gravel, stickers, or hot sand, allowing dogs to explore comfortably. One user shared, “I’m relieved to know his paws are protected from burrs and cacti in the desert when we go hiking,” highlighting their effectiveness during Sonoran desert camping trips. The easy-on, easy-off design with adjustable straps simplifies setup at the campsite, and their hand-washable nature means quick cleanup after muddy or dusty trails, keeping your camping gear clean and your dog’s paws pristine for the next adventure.Ease of use and maintenance further elevate the QUMY Dog Shoes’ appeal. The wide split seam opening makes them simple to slip on, even for dogs unaccustomed to wearing boots, and the strong Velcro straps ensure they stay put during active play. Owners report that dogs adapt quickly, with one stating, “My puppy was running and chasing the ball within minutes”. The boots are hand-washable, requiring only a quick wipe with a damp cloth to remove mud or debris, which is a huge time-saver for busy pet owners. Priced affordably, these boots offer tremendous value for their quality and versatility, making them an excellent investment for year-round paw protection.I enthusiastically recommend the QUMY Dog Shoes for Large Dogs, Medium Dog Boots & Paw Protectors for their outstanding quality, budget-friendly price, and exceptional versatility. Their durable, water-resistant construction, anti-slip soles, and secure fit make them perfect for protecting paws during camping, hiking, or daily walks in any weather. The ease of use, stylish design, and ability to keep paws safe and clean make these boots a must-buy for any dog owner looking to enhance their pet’s comfort and safety.

Good fit/ Utilize front to fold material/velcro should fit snug on the ankle.

Size 8 fit my dogs wide feet perfectly with enough space for her nails- I was slightly concerned for the extra room on the upper material but it works well for activities, Scent Clean/No chemical/standard shipment new shoe type smell, Slip Resistant good-this especially helps on pavement when she runs cause she does a scooby doo type of slide even on concrete-the bottom rubber still allows a small slide on concrete but protects her paw pads, softness on the inside is nice you could possibly add socks for snow or extra cold days.Amelia (my dog) is between 70-75lbs. Breed Some of everything. German Shepherd-Malamute-American Pit-American Staff-Boxer-Mastif-ChowChow. To my understanding that’s it. 😂 this girl is just a little over 2 yrs old. People friendly- reactive to most animals(birds, squirrels, dogs, cats, skunks, possums, lizards, even flies….) you get it, I have to take her to a private area for exercise, I occasionally socialize her only at big dog parks she loves other large dogs, occasionally gets rowdy with same size or medium dogs, yet respects small dogs unless they snap at her… extremely intelligent girl, often moody-sassy-nippy-needy-talkative-jumps-spins(in the air sometimes)… we live in the city of Long Beach, CA.Living in the city there aren’t many places to exercise her. There’s an empty lot near by, I launch a ball a few times or however long she wants to go. However that stopped because her paw pads were noticeably peeling. After walks her paws get red, small cuts, scrapes, rashes… etc it’s the city so there’s a little bit of everything on the floors. So here we are. Shoes for this city dog. Who obviously needs to be in a back country, but here we are.Today was her first day running after the ball again. It went very well, today was also her second day getting introduced to the shoes; the instructions say to take a week of exposing them to your dog. However Amelia picks up on things quickly. Do what you need to do for your own dogs pace of course. Somehow she managed to scrape her ankles while running today, we stopped immediately when I noticed. At first the back shoes flipped upside down on her feet; utilize the opening seem in the front of the shoe to fold the shoes around the ankles and Velcro them tightly, especially if your dog is a hard runner. Other than scraping her ankles on the pavement somehow, the shoes are great. They held up better than I thought they would while she ran. As I said before the city here is a bit dirty, so the shoes did pick up a lot of dirt… I’m ok with that. It goes to show that she needed them with everything that’s on the floor out here. We go out together often though, so this was a necessary purchase for our activities. We will be hiking again soon. I’m sure the shoes will hold up well on rugged terrain as well. Read the instructions provided in box and care tips. If you made it to the end of this, thank you for reading, have fun with your furry friends and get them the gear they need. FYI it’s only 4 stars in my book because on the back of one shoe the material seem did get a little torn already and the ankles probably need to be made smaller, but also you need the opening to put the paw inside… so just utilize folding the material and Velcroing is snug on the ankle.

effective winter boots despite the theatrics 🦴

i got these these dog boots meant to protect paws from cold weather, snow, wet ground, and rough pavement, specifically for winter walks because my dogs have tiny paws and zero tolerance for cold.the colors are cute, soft, and accurate to the listing. they look cozy and neutral in person, not neon, not cheap, and not weirdly shiny. they actually look nice on, which i didn’t expect from dog boots. there’s no weird chemical smell out of the package. just a very neutral, standard new-product smell that faded quickly. nothing strong or concerning.it is VERY IMPORTANT to measure paws carefully, sizing really matters! they’re honestly pretty easy to put on for dog shoes. once you get the hang of putting them on, it’s pretty quick. the wide opening helps a lot, and the velcro straps make it adjustable without cutting off circulation. once they’re on, they feel secure. that said, initial mobility is… bad. my dogs absolutely hate them so far. my dogs do the classic weird walk or they go fully paralyzed. like statue mode, not moving, no thoughts, everytime i put them on. but that’s very much a dog-brain adjustment issue, not a shoe malfunction. once they start walking, they adjust pretty quickly and can move normally. they don’t seem to restrict leg movement once the drama phase passes. they stayed on during walks and didn’t immediately twist or fly off, which already puts them above most dog shoes.these actually protect paws. the soles are thick and rubbery and feel like they’d handle ice, snow, and rough pavement without issues. the tread gives real grip. no slipping on smooth or slightly icy surfaces so far, which is huge. the material is thicker than i expected in a good way. the rubber sole is sturdy and rubbery, not flimsy or foam-like, and the fabric upper feels padded enough to actually block cold. they’re not stiff bricks, but they’re structured enough to protect paws. warmth-wise, these definitely help. my chiweenie used to refuse to stay outside because the ground was too cold, and now he doesn’t want to come back in once he’s out there. so while he acts offended when they go on, they clearly do their job once he starts moving.the quality is solid. stitching looks clean, the straps feel secure, and the soles are thick enough that i’m not worried about wear after a few walks. no cracking, no peeling, no loose seams so far. they feel like they’ll hold up for a full winter, not just a couple novelty uses.for the price, these are genuinely worth it. you’re getting real paw protection, warmth, and grip, not decorative dog shoes that fall off immediately. if your dog hates the cold or struggles with winter walks, these feel like a practical investment.they’re definitely not something your dog will love immediately, but wearable after a short adjustment period. they actually do what they’re supposed to do. easy enough to put on, warm, durable, and they stay on during walks. my cold-hating chiweenie is suddenly down to stay outside, which is honestly the best endorsement possible. solid quality, cute colors, and genuinely functional. would absolutely buy again.

Lasted 5 years and just bought a new set!

These boots are really great!I bought my first set in 2020 (size 7) and a second set in 2021 (size 8). The size 7 measured correctly for my dog’s front paws, but they were a bit too small and were wearing at the toes where his claws must have been pressing. The size 8 was perfect for the front paws and I kept the size 7 for his back paws. He wore them every winter day, multiple times a day, for a few years when we lived with heavy salt usage and now wears them if it’s below 5 or 10 degrees, so still many days of the season. They are super worn out (pics included), especially the Velcro and reflective bands but considering they lasted 4-5 years of heavy use, I am super pleased with the quality for cost. I just reorded two new sets, another 7 and 8, and I chose different colors so it will be easier to see which are for his front paws and which are for the back. Absolutely recommend these boots and definitely recommend getting two sets, especially if paws are different sizes front to back and if you’ll be in the snow multiple times a day – it’s nice to have a dry pair.We have never lost a boot. They stay on very well if you put them on tight enough – I strap his on tighter than I would think is comfortable (but he’s fine) and always go below the carpal pad on the front paws which seems more secure than over top. My dog hasn’t minded them at all from day 1 – I ignored the intro instructions and just strapped them on straight away, and he’s been good every since. He never has any discomfort with the boots, and acts like he doesn’t know they’re there. The reflective straps are very bright and really nice to have if you’re walking on the road. They work in all types of snow and stay dry inside even if he’s running through deep snow the whole time. They make an unbelievable difference with his cold tolerance – he’s got wimpy feet and starts holding paws up if he’s in the snow below 5-10 degrees, but with the boots, he’s 100% fine in all temps – we’ve walked down to minus 30 or 40 degrees many times for quite a while and he’s never had an issue. Pretty amazing.Only con would be that they are a bit slippery on the ice and on steeper side hills in the mountains – it’s not too bad or anything but I have noticed that he has a little less traction in those situations and has taken a few spills on the ice or short slides down a hill- I think not having his claws and foot flexibility to grab onto the terrain limits his traction some, but overall a very small price to pay for a product that otherwise massively increases his ability to be out in the winter. We just received the new set and the maiden voyage went well. They are only slightly different than what we had previously but seem better quality if anything. I’ll update if we have any problems with the new sets.I included pics of the old, worn-out set.

    Love so far!

I ’ve been using these dog shoes for about 2 days now, and I’m honestly impressed with how quickly my dog Lyla got adjusted to them. She usually takes time getting used to new things( or hates things straight away) but with these, she was walking normally pretty fast, which makes me think they’re a great option if you’re just starting your dog with shoes. They’re also super cute in person, I got the pink color and it’s adorable and they seem well-made. I’ve been using them mainly for walks, and they stay on well without slipping off. On most surfaces she walks completely fine in them. The only place I’ve noticed a bit of trouble is on pine straw they get a little slippery/sloppy there, but it hasn’t been a major issue. The only other thing I’ve noticed is that after I take them off, she does lick/chew at her paws a bit. I’m not sure if that’s just because the feeling is new or if they might be slightly irritating, so I’m keeping an eye on it.Overall, I think these are a really solid beginner-friendly option for dog shoes, especially if your dog isn’t used to wearing them yet.

Makes no sense for the front and back to be the same size!

The shoes themselves are a very good product. What makes no sense is having both the front and the back boots be the same size. Most canines (including your dog) have larger front paws than rear paws. When you buy a set of four that are all the same size and if sized for the front paws the back boots will be too large. The back boots can then twist around or come off more easily.I bought size 7 for my 85 lb Doberman, sizing for the front paws. The 7s were too big for her rear feet, twisted around so she was walking on the tops rather than the soles, or came off too easily. I then bought a set of size 6s. They fit her back feet correctly. I think most buyers will find the rears too large if the fronts fit correctly. The seller should sell pairs or sets with the two for the front paw size and two one size down. The seller is doing buyers a disservice the way they sell them now; it may be on purpose to get you to buy two sets. If you want to two sets, do what I did, then you have spares when they lose one

    Stiff but sturdy

These little booties are pretty good for what you get. They are very sturdy but may be a bit stiff, so just like with a human shoe, it may take some time for your dog to get used to them. So far (about six months use), they seem pretty waterproof for a high-rain area but then again, hard to tell if they are truly waterproof without asking your dog. Woof.

I love these booties ! Great everyday shoes

We’ve been loving these QUMY dog shoes for our mini Goldendoodle, Milo! They’re surprisingly easy to put on and stay secure during walks, which was one of our biggest concerns when looking for dog shoes. We mainly use them for rainy walks to keep his paws clean and dry, but they’ve also been great during snowy weather and on hot pavement in the summer. They’ve made everyday walks so much easier since we don’t have to constantly wipe muddy paws afterward.Milo adjusted to them quickly and seems very comfortable wearing them. They don’t seem to bother him at all while walking, and he can still walk and run normally in them. For reference, Milo is a mini Goldendoodle and weighs 18-19 pounds. We ordered size 2 and it fits perfect!Definitely recommend these for anyone looking for comfortable, practical dog shoes for daily walks and all kinds of weather 🐾

Great affordable option best for winter

Wish they had a little more flexibility to them that way you could secure them tighter while they stayed comfortable on your pet. They work great for protecting my dog paws from the wet and the snow. Great winter time option that’s affordable and the reflective material is a great addition.

Sizing runs big, twists around on the paw

Measured my dog’s feet and thought I got it right but size 7 ended up being too big so maybe consider sizing down, especially if your dog’s measurements are on the line between 2 sizes. Immediately I could tell size 6 was a better fit. I haven’t had an issue with them falling off yet but I have experienced them doing a 180° twist on my dog’s paws. I’m currently primarily using these booties inside the house to prevent my dog from slipping on our hard flooring and when the bottom traction part is on top of his foot all of a sudden, the booties are no longer doing their job as well. Otherwise these booties have been good.

    Patience required

These were surprisingly easy to put on. I got them for a friend’s dog with plans of taking the dog with us on some mountain hikes. I think with time and patience the dog would have gotten used to them. But my friend had neither. However, they were well made, easy to put on a golden retriever, and would definitely protect against rough or hot surfaces.

My dog is pitbull/sharpei/wiener she’s 32 pounds medium SIZE 3 fit perfect

They’re perfect such good quality shes already getting used to them. I’ve had them on her for about an hour and she’s sleeping in them already. Got them because I live in California for the hot payment and foxtail season she had to get surgery on her paw which is why she only has them on three of her paws! Not risking anymore foxtail they seem to stay on she did sprint and they’re still on just gotta strap them in real good. Super easy to slide on and take off very comfortable design.

Sensitive Feet, Large Paws and Skinny Legs.

My Frenchie has large paws and skinny legs. (She’s 21 pounds full grown). Size 3 fits her paws nicely but learning curve to get them to stay on her legs. She likes to wear clothing, so I had no problem with her not liking the shoes. She has very sensitive feet. So dead grass, sidewalks and wet ground she avoids. It gets very hot here 100++ degrees. Took a couple days for the both of us to learn how to use them. She will sit and wait for you to put the shoes on her before going outside. She likes to gallop in the shoes. They do get dirty very fast, maybe get a dark color if you don’t want to see it. They are smooth to the touch inside and out. the rubber bottoms are very firm/solid and thick. They work for us.

Perfect dog shoes for hot pavement or paw injury!

I love these shoes for my medium-sized Thai ridgeback mix! She is 35 pounds and a size 5 fit her perfectly! They are also easily adjustable with Velcro straps. Most people don’t know how hot the pavement gets in the heat, and their paw pads can burn within just a few seconds of touching burning pavement. These boots are also great for injuries to keep them from licking paw wounds. They have great traction so our pup never slips, and they’re super easy to clean! Definitely recommend

Easy on, easy off, soft and durable

I purchased a size 6 for my 80 pound golden retriever to help her hind legs not slip on slippery floors and to help protect her back paws because she drags them due to a lumbar stenosis. She loves them! She lets me put them on without any problems and doesn’t mind wearing them. I actually think she knows the booties are helping her be more active. She gets a lot of comments on her new shoes 🙂

Good quality but ORDER A LARGER SIZE

These boots are well constructed and the quality seems very durable. HOWEVER, be careful re sizing! Another reviewer indicated that the boots run large, so I ordered the exact size as measured on my dog’s paw. When I tried to put them on, the paw wouldn’t fit in the opening, making them useless. So if anything I would recommend ordering a size larger than the measured width of your dog’s paw.
