Saved me from buying a new washing machine
I hope people read this review, in addition to being very happy with the product I have some washer-related tips that may help with the use of this product.I was getting flecks of grime-looking stuff on my clothes when I took them out of the washer, particularly noticeable on whites. The washer isn’t brand-new, but it’s only maybe 8 years old and is an LG and in great shape an well cared for. I didn’t know if the stuff was mold/mildew or if it was maybe like grease from the motor or what. If I was careful, I could kind of lift/flick it off the clothes. But if not, it kind of smeared it into the fabric. No one washes their clothes to get them dirtier, so I didn’t know what to do besides buy a new washer.Before I did, somehow I got the idea to search for washer cleaner and ended up here. I threw in a tablet and did the tub clean mode, but next wash, same thing (keep reading b/c this isn’t the product’s fault). I threw in several tablets, same thing. So I decided to monitor the process. What I found was, at least with my washing machine, the “Tub Clean” mode is just to clean the very bottom of the tub – it only filled with like 2″ of water. Since the washing machine uses sensors to decide how to fill the tub, I was really at a loss for how to get it to fill the drum with water, which I needed to do b/c it was clear that the grime was coming from the little holes on the side of the drum during the spin cycle.After being on the phone with the manufacturer’s support for awhile and trying all kinds of things, I was eventually told that there was no way to get the tub to fill with more water. WRONG. I ended up setting it on bulky/bedding with hot water, and ran it with nothing in it until the water stopped. At that point, I paused the cycle, then I turned the washer off and unplugged it, waited a minute, turned it back on, and did it again. At this point, the washer took the weight of the water in the washer to be clothes, and filled the drum pretty much the rest of the way. I shut it off again, and when I turned it back on again, I then put it in Tub Clean mode and added a few of these tablets.Stopped by to look about 45 minutes later and it looked like paper mache had dissolved in the washer. there was all of this floating shmeg in the drum. The issue at that point is, how do you make sure that it actually drains out with the water, and doesn’t just settle only to come back again the next time? Especially since I had to do this like a dozen times. So I got a mesh strainer and used it like a pool skimmer and pulled out and dumped wave after wave of this gross stuff. When the cycle was over, I did this whole thing again. Again, tons of crap floating. I don’t know that you need to skim it out like I did, and it probably depends on the washer. But I know that if I didn’t, every time I would be wondering if it was the same grossness as last time, or new stuff, so by removing it myself, I KNEW that stuff was out.I will say I went through almost the whole box over the course of a week doing this exercise, even though it says ‘a year’s supply’ – it’s a year’s supply if you run this once a week or twice a month or whatever as a preventative, which I will now do. What I will also tell you is that $30 or whatever it was for what was essentially a 1-time use was also about $800 less than buying a new washer.Lastly, while many products on our store arrive with a note offering to pay you for a positive review, this was not one. I took the time to write this because it helped me, hopefully it can help you, and its a small business and hopefully sharing this truth helps them.

I forgot to take a before and after picture but the seal was black!!! These are fantastic!!!! I’ve been renting my home for almost 8 months now and have tired a lot of things to get this wash machine to smell better and to get rid of the mold and build up in the rubber seal, I ran it once with this in there and the smell was almost gone but the build up in the seal was still there I did half bleach, half water, scrubbed the seal and ran it again and it looks and smells a million times better!! So worth the money! And so easy to use!!!

Works! Nasty smell gone!
Wow this definitely works! Our washer had a really musty nasty smell when the water was running. We had to use more detergent to get our clothes smelling good. Finally said enough and got this. It works! Only used one and the smell was gone. Now I’m not wasting detergent and don’t think we need to replace our washer as I thought. This will definitely last a year of used twice a month. My clothes smell clean and fresh. It was easy to use and packaged money. Would buy again.

Awesome product
these are great. When we moved, we kept our top load washing machine in storage for a couple of months -when we hooked it back up, there was all kinds of residue in the tub after we would run the washer. Worked pretty well after dog laundry & college athletic clothes
I was doubtful of how well these would work. But I couldn’t get this funky smell out of my top loader. I tried bleach, vinegar, baking soda, nothing seemed to work. We do have dogs & wash theor beds. I have 2 college aged sons who recently came home & are avid athletes constantly washing sweaty workout clothes.I ordered these & wanted to see if they lived up to the expectations i had.They were packaged safely in sealed packets making it easy to keep them fresh.I used 1 on my machine “clean mode” per the box instructions. It foamed up a bit & I let it do its thing. At the end of the cycle the drum was clean & it seemed fresher than before. It still had a little funk smell- so I repeated with a second tab the next day as it says you can do. That may be no fault of the tab I don’t know yet.The 2nd time it definitely noticed the tab removed the odor & my washer smelled much better. I will keep using it 2x per month &Consistently to see if the smell returns with repeated use.

So Far So Great!
Had 6 large loads of laundry. Machine was smelling stale so I used the last of my Lysol machine cleaner. After load 3, had to rehash dye to sour smell on my clothes. Ordered these cleaner tablets, came the next day. Finished the last loads and NO odor or mildew. Even 2 days later. 💪🏽

Worked great, part of my regular cleaning routine now.
I have an all in one Washer/Dryer unit and over time it has lost it’s ability to dry in the normal dry time. I had reduced my load sizes to minimize the length of dry time but was still requiring and additional 3 or 4 hours to dry. Something was clearly wrong with the machine. Before making a service call, I decided to give a good cleaning. These tablets were part of that process.After executing 1 “tub clean” cycle using a tablet, It started to was and dry like it was a new out of the box machine. I have now committed myself to running a “Tub Clean” cycle using these tablets once a month.I should also note that I am on well water here and it is pretty hard so I wanted to use a product that specifically targets deposits from hard water. This product fit the bill and then some!

Better Than Manually Cleaning the Washer Drum
This is the first time i used somethi g like this to clean out the build up of softener gunk from the washing machine. I would usually take it semi take it apart and just use a garden hose, scrub, and dry wet vacuum to remove the mess but it’ll take a bit of time if you don’t completely remove the drum and other components.Just placing one tab into the washer and put it into self clean breaks down softener and detergent build up within hard to reach/clean placese inside the washer.I had to use a total of 2 tabs and two cycle of self clean in order to completely remove the gunk out from under the drum where leftover water is held.
